Newbie here. We bought a Hardinge CNC with Centroid T-400 and we are trying ot learn it by the seat of our pants. We set the tool with tool set up but when we run the program it goes somewhere else. It has fixture origins (Like G54code)which we make sure is set during setup. We have no clue to the tools offset library and what it does. Can someone give me a step by step instructions in setting the tool and getting the origins right? We are lost as to what to do. Centroid refers you to the original retrofit company and they want $600 a day to talk. Rob |
