I am a small rod and reel repair shop , i want to bring it to another level to offer custom machining and whatnot , i am a tool and diemaker here is RI. and have been training on Mastercam and a Mikron maching center so i have some experience with cnc . I would be looking for something that would be able to machine aluminum with light cuts with the potential maching of thicker materials and harder materials like steel , Max cutter dia would be 3/4 and spindle speed i would be looking to use max is 30,000 , I have looked at the Haas office mill line but it seems to be to lightweight for my application . the other thing is i would need this machine to run on single phase power or off a phase converter if possible . My only other requirement would be the use of a rotary attachement to . Any recomendations would be greatly appreciated .
