    On programing this

    Dear users, Im using xilog plust to program the machine, and I do not know how to do this you can see in the photo,
    I have programed in this form but the line goes just like the "V"

    G0 X=70 Y=DY/2-91 Z=1 T=104
    G1 Y=DY/2 Z=8
    G1 Y=DY/2+91 Z=1
    BO X=70+13 Y=DY/2-64 Z=8 D=8 N="P" R=2# x=-26 y=128

    now how can I do that can any body help me?

    id under stand correctly looking from top it is a straight line but from side view it is like your picture.
    xilog doesnt recognize XZ and XY elipse and the program you have written is direct two single straight moves of the tool (not includding the boring oporation)
    you need external halp to create this kind of code and i am nut sure you could keep it parametric.

    any way if you can send a 3d explanation, coorect material size and tool defination i will try to help

    It kinda does, because Xilog is a control for a big commercial wood router. But I'll move it.

    Well it's 18 mm Melamine-Face Chipboard we use and I class that as wood not metal?
