shop just bought a used makino mc98-a99 5axis hmc . anyone have experience whith this machine. I'll be programming with mastercam.

what type of controller?
doe's it use a migrating tool drum ?

makino professional series 3 control by fanuc and a drum tool rack
programs like a stantard fanuc .
use caution tho drum might still be migratory (it puts the tool back in the pocket that it got th next too out of and renames the pocket for the tool that it puts in to it ) thus migratory what verson of master cam will you be use ing .
