Home Position problem Hitachi Seiki Fanuc 11M

    Hello:

I want to know if anybody has experience on Hitachi Seiki with Fanuc 11M. After a electric variation problems in the floor, I can just sent to Home the Z axe, but I can not send to Home or move the X and Y axis.

    Thanks in advance

Is the machine equipped with a pallet changer or rotary C axis? If so check to make sure the machine sees that they are clamped. If they are and you can't move axis by handwheel try it in MDI.

The machine has no pallet or C axis. There is another condition that could inhibit just the movement of the X and Y, beacuse I can move just the Z axis.

    Thanks in advance!

I'll assume that no alarms are present. Open the cabinent and see if the servoamps are powered up for the x and y axis. Are the machine positions close to the end of travel?

You are right, theres no alarms and all the servos are ready. At this point I exchange all the drives and boards (all CPU) with others machines that works fine. (same model, same control)

The position of the axis are in the opposite side of the microswitch.

I would suggest looking at your ladder logic and find the axis interlock rung. If I remember correctly it is G300.1 for X axis and backtrack on the ladder to see what is inhibiting your table from moving.
