    Default CNC4PC and Automation Technologies

What is the deal with these two companies? Are they the same company but with different websites and different products?

They stock a lot of the same items and Automation Technologies uses CNC4PC manuals but one claims to only have 8056D drivers while the other has 5056D in stock.

The reason I ask is because I just had a less than stellar experience ordering an assembled box from CNC4PC and I don't want to go over to Automation Technologies if I am just going to get the same bull**** service. I would much rather plop down twice the dough for a servo system and be able to speak to a company rep that I can actually understand through email.

If anyone can help me out I would greatly appreciate it.

    Thanks!

They are different people, Arturo (cnc4pc) is in Florida and john keling is in chicago.
cnc4pc only recently started reselling keling products and vice versa.
Many websites offer items from other sites and these 2 offer items from several other companies, some just drop ship..
You pay a little more to get the one stop shopping convenience.
I get approached a lot but am not interested in dealing with it.
Arturo will support items he makes but expect him to defer you to john for his items.
And you can't expect a lot of support from john since he doesn't make the stuff, it comes from china.
There are plenty of other suppliers, gecko drive, DMM, Homann that might speak your language.

I don't see any evidence that they are the same company.

CNC4PC is in Florida. Automation Technologies is in Illinois (IIRC).

Both of them import the same or similar stepper motor drivers from a manufacturer in China. CNC4PC designs and manufactures their own interface boards. Automation Technologies is a reseller for some of those boards.

If so, I would like to know what you came up with.

    Thanks,
