You can bookmark it in the browser.
If you look at all your past post in your profile, it will only show back to the start of 2011, they used to go back 500 posts.
But I can see my posts back to when I started in 2003 if I bookmark them or can find them in a search.

Thank you fellow Canadians,
I' m humble by the amount of posts you both have !
This is probably more computer related, but could you keep a copy of a post in a file, (beside sending a link)
in order to send to a friend per example.
Hesitate to answer, as I'm one of the southern neighbors.
One easy way to archive a post is to simply print the entire post to a pdf file. There are several utilities out there which install as a printer on your pc. You select print, then select the pdf generator as the printer to use.
I use an inexpensive one call easyPDF, but there are many.

you can download portions or complete websites , ive used it for tutorial sites in the past because many tend to be fly by nite , this saves the whole content to a folder

I same them as MHT's. That way it's all in one file (pics etc) instead of a seperate folder with the collateral files in it.

In MS Internet Explorer (at least), do a
"File"
"SaveAs"
then if the file type dropdown does not default to a file type of '.mht' then choose it from the dropdown list.
