Machine is a Hardinge ST-216, but I believe the spindle was made by Tsugami, so maybe someone familiar with Tsugami could help. The spindle is a splined tube that slides in and out of the motor as the headstock moves. There is some slop in there that I believe is giving me some problems with my spindle positioning. Does anyone know if there is a way to tighten up this slop? Any ideas are welcome. Thanks!
