    Default PMDX134 to what motors?

Is there any documentation using the cncrouterparts XML config file what Smoothstepper/PMDX126/PMDX134 motor port mapping is? New to Mach 3. Machine is built and itching to plug the motors in put really worried about getting the Y slave motor in the wrong PMDX134 port. None of the schematics on the site have of the current detail about the slave axis. Any one have a DIY kit were they had to figure this out?

    Thanks,

    Steve

In Mach3, go into the Ports and Pins page and see which pins are assigned to each motor.
Then see if they match what your PMDX-134 setup.

Usually it's pins 8 and 9..... then just set up the A axis as a slave to Y. Bench test FIRST, you'll likely have to reverse the motor direction as well

Just read again, I'll look at the schematic later. but they should be labeled as such somewhere on the board.

Looking at the board, they're clearly marked axis 1, 2, 3, and 4

thanks for replies, the key was starting with crp300 xml file(pmdx126 based) for mach3 not crp800 file which is tailored to cncrp own breakout board.
