Welcome Aboard!
Go ahead and post some pictures as you are building the base. We've seen some pretty unique table ideas here.

Are you building a room around it?
What size items are you planning on running?
Looks like a nice machine!

Hi, yes i am building a room for the noise, i am gonna use the full size of the table.
Good idea for the noise but, it looks tight in there.

Nicely done! I like the controls on the outside of the room.
When I first saw the earlier photo of the room(while building the room), I saw the computer and monitor in front of the machine. I could picture myself knocking the monitor off with a piece of plywood. lol

Yeah, the plan was having the controls outside since the beginning, its nice to watch it from outside through the glass without the dust and the noise
how closely were you able to tram the machine?
Have a look,

and the X Axis
After we moved to a new house recently i managed to finish my machine and i realized i have a problem that i cant solve.
I tried to cut this tutorial from the free trial version of the Cut2d and it seem like my repeatability suffers.
It starts fine and as the cut is going the whole cut is shifting to the point is almost destroys the job completely at the end.
I tried everything i can imagine so far, i started by slowing down to 20%, then i cleaned the rails to make sure the machine run smoothly, after that i checked for loose pinions and the i disengaged the motors to make sure i dont have any stiff points, rechecked the tension of the belts and cleaned the racks.
Also another weird thing that i dont know if it is relevant is that when i export the cut from Cut2d and imported to mach3 it is huge, i have to scale it down to 0.1 on all axes to be at the right size, i dont know why is this happening even though i made sure i am exporting the right format from Cut2d and i have the same units everywhere, mm in my case.
Here are some photos from some of my test cuts.

For the size issue, in Mach3, go to Config > Select Native Units, and make sure it's in inches.
If it is, make sure it's jogging the correct distance, and make sure Mach3 is in inch (G20) mode.
Also, make sure that you're using an inch post from cut2D.
As for losing position, try reducing the acceleration by 25-50%

Why change to inch ?
i use metric everywhere both in mach 3 and Cut2d, metric is my native measurement unit.
As with the acceleration i reduced it by 80% as i stated in my post and still have the same problem.
Sorry, I thought you were using inches. Leave everything in metric.
Are you're drawings done in cm, instead of mm?
