    Default formula?

Does anyone know the formula for cutting a piece to fit the pocket for inlay like if you were using a 1/32 bit and it came to a point what formula would you use to make the piece fit the pocket if the pocket came to point ?

    Thanks

You'll need to radius the corners 1/64". There's no formula. You'll also probably need to leave .001-.003 clearance. Trial and error will tell you what you need there.

What you are asking is too vague. formulas can be written for just about any kind of geometery to be cut.

Assuming(?) you want a slip(?) fit. Offset the geometery of the plug to be .001 to .002 smaller all around the periphery of the pocket. And for a point of some kind you will need to calculate the vector angle and offset the .001 to .002 90 degrees to it. There is not just one formula.

    Safety - Quality - Production.
