Been wondering I anyone else has ad similar experiences or frustrations with the soft ware. We have had 6 software upgrades and still the same issues.
The local technicians have thrown there hands in the air and no too given up
The issue is when importing dxf files from non Autocad files. we have a huge amount of wastage due to lead in cut and cutting past the cut paths. this is all checked prior to cutting and all seems fine on the optimization page. when we check we cannot see any issues whatsoever.
when we cut its a issue.
We've had Biesse Italy come and tell us that we must use autocad only . Extremely difficult when clients use Corel/Rino etc etc etc
Have you tried opening them with autocad or one of the clones that you can get for free and then saving them as an autocad file?
Also are you trying to setup the toolpath with the DXF or just importing it into biesseworks as geometry and then defining toolpaths and the like?
When I took the Biesseworks training they used Nano Cad and it worked fine.
