    Default *.xxl to *.pgm

I am using mastercam X2 to create an*.xxl file. I know that needs to converted to a *.pgm file to run on the record130 cnc I'm using which uses Xilog3. I also know that i need to use winxiso.exe to do this, but I'm not sure how to go about this. any help?

You should have a shortcut to WinXIso in your STart menu, probably under SCM or SCM group. If not, you can just double click the file to start it. Once open, click the folder icon in the upper right corner, and select your .xxl files.
Then click the arrows on the right side of the screen (next to the file names) and the files will be converted to .pgm files.

Thanks, I had found the WinXiso in the Start menu, when I click on it it opens to what appears to be a DOS file/box that has C:\Record 130. I then type in winxiso beside it and a new box (which appears to be windows, not DOS) pops up. at the top of that box it has xxl/pgm compiler version 6.0. There is a browser button where I can find the xxl file that I want to transfer to pgm when I click on the compile button I get Compiling... (and beneath that is written) Compiled lines 34: Errors 1: Is it because of the errors that I still don't get a pgm file? Any thoughts on how to fix this problem?

Yes I can. I attach the file to the xxl/prg compiler version 6.0 box. Then hit compile, that is when I get the error message, and still no pgm file.

What you meen? Without errors you must have a pgm file.
Create folder with winxiso and xxl:
    *.xxl to *.pgm-2013-05-15_213336-jpg
    Run WINXiso.exe. Open your file.
    *.xxl to *.pgm-2013-05-15_213658-jpg
Press Copmile. winxiso will generate pgm file.
    *.xxl to *.pgm-2013-05-15_214030-png
Now, you can open pgm in editor.
