    Default Biesse NC500 using .DXF

    hey guys,
I just recently changed jobs. I was using a Biesse Rover 22 and now im using a Rover 24 in my new job. These new guys dont use autocad (or any cad software), they do everything inside NC500...including complex shapes which take them hours to draw up. So i installed autocad 2000i for them and tried to import a DXF but it tossed up the error 'unknown layer 0' or something similar even tho i have specified the layer in the DXF setup of NC500.

anyone know a DXF setup that works.
    panel name -
    router name -
    side 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 drill names etc etc.

    thanks for any help.

    Default nc500 import

panel name in setup ,panel example layer name -panel32p9
router name in setup , router example layer name -router8mm12pr5
8mm being the name of the tool
    12p0 is the depth
    r is righthand correction
    5 is circular z infeed

Hello, i have a biesse rover 20 and i am using autocad dxf files for import to nc500. For example my layer is 13MM1P50R0, means 13MM tool, 1.5 depth, right direction and 0 in-out. I have two questions:

    1. what is layer name if i can change Z axis (for example i want to line with start depth 1 and 1.5 depth on end of the line), how can this exaple add to layer name?

    2. Is it posible to set tool sequence, means if i have for example 3 rectangles in autocad and i want to start rout with second, or change to sequence which i want?

    thank you
    Alex
