Appreciate Help - Duplomatic Turret Fault

Hi, we're running a Colchester Combi K4 with Fanuc S/W and Duplomatic Turret.
Keep getting Turret Errors on Control panel.
Have change UNC board and Duplomatic Control card and now the fault is slightly different. The turret indexes as normal but sometimes doesn't lock in position. Instead the turret vibrates (clockwise/anticlockwise) about 10 thou about it's locking point. Sometimes it then locks, but often it just keeps vibrating and the Turret light on the control panel flashes on and off quickly and the contactors on the Duplomatic control card click in and out frantically, the locking sensor also flashes on and off. The only means of overcoming this fault is to power off then manually reset/lock the turret and try again. Also, when manually locking the turret, winding clockwise until the solenoid drops in and then winding anti-clockwise until the resistance is overcome, as soon as the resistance is overcome there is a clicking noise as though something is springing into position? Is this normal? or is it part of the problem? Any help is greatly appreciated.
