Acramatic 850 help?

Hello,
Does anyone know of a technician or company knowledgable in Acramatic 850 controls I could hire to get a couple of machines running?

I just purchased a Cinturn 1212 and a Cinturn 1410 they were functioning when the shop closed its doors, But it looks like they might need the program downloaded to the controller.

Thanks

Hmmm - I thought the 850 controls had flash memory that wouldn't lose their minds when the power is disconnected. I'm trying to get my hands on a couple of these lathes with the same control. I'll have to check if the controls need batteries to prevent memory loss when the power is disconnected.

Check out this site for Cinci service.

I am not positive that is what happened, the memory LED is lit on the controller. I know nothing about these controls so I was looking for someone that could help. Have you worked on acramatic 850's?
Thanks for the info

I've set-up & run machines with the 850 & 850sx controls but have no experience with trouble shooting the controls.

If you post exactly what happens when you power up the machine then someone here may be able to help. Where are you located?

Hello,
Just got the machine all put back together and powered up.
The alarms that I get are:
EX010 Power on fail and
SB011 Graphic Ram Parity (Blue)
The control boots up and runs it checks then goes to a screen with one error that says something about a RAM error.
If I push the power on button again it goes to the normal screens (I think)
Can anyone help me out on this?
Thanks

I also have an Acramatic 850 on a Cincinnati Sabre 750, and I get a alarm on power up and diagnostics that says "comp failure 14901". There is no corresponding code in my manual, but I reset it and it usually runs okay. Now during operaton the mill shuts down with a "system fail 50" code which usually crashes the cutter and I have to restart the machine. I know that the "system fail 50" code has something to do with computer hardware/software so I believe the two codes are connected. Without the expalnation of "comp failure 14901" I don't know what to do! Can someone please help?

HELP

I have a 1988 Cincinati Milicron 7VC-750 VMC with a Acramatic 850 control that I bought from a Local University (it is nearly new), I put the mill in the shop and wired it from 480 to 240, rewiring the hydraulic and coolant motor. My hydraulic thermal overload keeps tripping even though I set it to 7.3A (the motor at 230V is 6.2A), I will try to solve that later. I went the do a machine alignment and the tool changer stuck in one position towards the spindle. The next day after the machine was off over night I replaced a bolt in the wrist actuator cylinder that must have fallen off during shipping, then I tried to align the tool changer and couldn't get the controller to manually move at all and go to home so I can align the machine. The Error message I get is “TA in unsafe position” “ALERT# 13525”, it is stuck in a half cocked position and the only thing I did was physically move the tool changer aside a little so I could replace the missing bolt in the actuator pivot end. If the thermal overload would not keep tripping I might be able to eventually figure it out, I figure I will have to change it. But help would be awesome!

How can I home the tool changer, and keep the hydraulics running, I am a novice with this machine! It ran perfectly when I purchased it, and only traveled 30 miles.
