You may have to hold in the power on button while handwheeling the tuuret away from the chuck. We have a Republic Lagun MIll with the 2100 control on it and on occasion when it overtravels In any Axis you have to hold in the power button then move the axis away from the overtravel state.

If this is on a Hawk machine, you need to open up the back cover (not the electrical cabinet, but the other large cover on the back behind the turret). Inside there is a proximity switch that when the turret it pushed back too far (from a crash) it will trigger this switch to shut off the power. You can try loosening the switch and moving it away to release it. This should help.

To unlock the door look at the mechanism that holds the door closed. There will be a plug on top with a slot in it that needs to be unscrewed. There might be a small t-shaped tool tied to the box there that is used to unscrew and unlock the latch. Once you take out the plug use the tool/standard screwdriver to turn a small gear inside to unlock the door.

Then you can look below the turret for the switch.

There are eight bolts that hold the turret on my Falcon 200. Of course five of them were stripped when I got the machine.

When people say to call Maintenance Technologies to ask for help.. listen. They will talk you through just about anything to try and get your machine running.
