I have a 30hp rotary phase converter that I am using to power my Sabre 1250. It is a "CNC grade" rotary phase converter that I have running through a delta to wye transformer. The transformer has +/-5% and +/-10% taps on it. I have all three of my legs balanced nearly perfectly at 238,238,240 leg to leg. I use the same phase converter to power my EZPATH II CNC lathe with no issues. Most people will probably recommend a VFD style converter over the rotary but I have had no problems with mine. I will mention that MAG quoted me $11,000 for the transformer that I found used on ebay for $375 delivered. Good luck.
