    arrow 750 z fault problems

    i have a 94 arrow 750 with the control techniques control.
    when i power up the machine and try to align the axis the z will move up an inch or two and fault out. or it will move up and down short erratic movements and then fault out.
    can anyone point me in the direction for what to check and how to fix the problem to get the machine up and running again.

    Sounds like the Z axis servo drive.
    When my X axis drive went it did the same thing.
    Of course I could just reverse the X and Y connections to verify the problem followed the drive, since they are both Maxax 100s.
    A little more difficult to swap out your Z axis drive, though.
    Emerson is still repairing CT components.
    Not cheap, but they are very thorough.
    They can fix your Maxax 200 right up.
