Hi,
It's been a long time coming but I've finally taken possession of a used Arrow 500 with Acramatic controller. I believe the label tells me it's a 1997 model. I need manuals and software. It appears I have some binders with schematics but once I realized it wasn't the manuals I needed I set them aside to look.
From reading other Arrow 500 posts, I expected to find a hard disk, but all I see is a 3.5" floppy mounted thru the door.
I don't know anything about CNC machines, or anything about a mill this big. I want to get it up and running and setup CAD software to work with it.
Please help me understand the challenge I'm up against, how I can proceed to get the missing pieces, etc.
Other than missing pieces, I'm confident that it's in good shape with relatively low hours. The gentlemen I bought it from had a partner who left with missing pieces, e.g. software and manuals. It appears he did a good job preparing it for transportation and storage before hand. In anticipation of delivery, I've prepared my shop with 3ph power and a special room with A/C etc.
Would appreciate any constructive advice you want to give...Thanks in advance.
Here's what I pulled off the label on the back panel:

Thanks again.
