Would anyone have a idea why when I first power up the mill the monitor does not come on. After shutting down and restarting the monitor comes on.This has happened at least 10 times so far and it always starts after repowering the the second time. After this the machine runs fine. Since I bought the machine used it has had this problem a few times but it is occuring quite often now. Thanks Mark |

| Sounds like maybe a connection problem. Perhaps it is a coincidence that it always works the second power up. You should be able to plug in a VGA monitor to the graphics output card and see if it behaves the same. If it is the same, it seems like you might look closer at your graphics card connections. If the second monitor comes on the first time you might want to look at the wiring between the original monitor and the graphics card or the monitor itself. If you have a CT control the monitor plugs in with a standard d-sub. I don't know on other controls. |
