problem with VFS 5 Milacron Arrow 750 with CNC Acramatic 2100

Hello kollegs.

I need advice. During working spindle the machine surprisely stopping, spindle rotate on inertia any time, axis Z fails down 2-3 mm, and we have alarms (39-41 "axis "signal ready" missing;39-29 "Spindle not up to speed"; 39-31 "Spindle stop failure" ) In this time the loading of spindle is 85% and more till end! But spindle is not under load and no jamming.

Sounds like your vfs5 just broke - with shorted output transistor.

the cnc control faults reported say the vfs5 is off (faulted). this shuts off machine, causing z to shut off and it drops 3mm before brake comes on so no problem there.

since load meter says 85% load when none, sounds like vfs5 is really broke and maybe has shorted output transistor causing load meter to go to 85% when it turns on.

Thank you very much for answer. I have one more question about ARROW 500. After loading of ACRAMATIC 2100 we have not on the screen coordinates of the machine (X,Y,Z...) and their values. No errors occurs during and after loading.
