Our Milacron 208 got crashed yesterday. Machine was rapid into the chuck. The #2 chuck jaw broke off.
Machine has Alert #15507 (? x0 tq overload alarm).
Tried everything i can think of to clear this but, it wont clear.
Anybody have any ideas?
Is it a board?
Is it %$!#^!^?

not sure what a 408 model is but we supplied the servos , (Kollmorgen, aka Inland, Industrial Drives) for a lot of old cmi lathes. if yours is one of this vintage this message means the thermal overload relay opened; if so you must reset it by pushing in the black button on it; this closes the overload contact back to the control. so if my drive or our competitor at the time, gettys, you should be able to find the x axis drive as they were always marked with a metal nametag plate above them on the backplane, follow the motor wires off the drive to just under or next to them and you should find a small 1"x4" relay thing with a big black button on top. push it in to reset and you should be back in business -- let us know if this is it....
