One of our Arrows has a hardtime with static electricity. 30 years bending over a bench has really taken a toll on my back. In my office I have a recliner and a heating pad and I try to stay there as much as possible. For some odd reason I carry alot of static elec. and blame the heating pad. If I forget to ground myself I have 1 control that will freeze up if I touch the machine. The other 4 vmc's this does not bother.Does anyone have a solution? All responses are appreciated, thanks to all. |

| Have you checked to make sure the earth ground connection is secure? Does this happen if you touch it *anywhere* (like the metal cabinet)? Or just when you touch the operators station? If properly grounded all ESD events should get short circuited around all the circuitry. |
