Arrow 1000 W/Acramatic 2100 - PC crashing

We have recently acquired an Arrow 1000 and are having a variety of random glitches. Right now the most troublesome problem is random alarms ranging from pendant link failure to axis drives not enabled. When these alarms are cleared and machine power is applied via the green button on the OSA a few things happen. Either the machine continues on as normal or the screen goes black and the PC shuts off immediately. The PC cant be restarted via the OSA until the mains power is cut and reapplied first. This problem was less frequent last week and has began recurring more frequently.

Some info on the machine:
-98 arrow 1000
-Acramatic 2100 control
-Kollmorgen drives
-Rotary phase converter producing 234, 226, 222 at the main contact switch in the machine.

Sounds like the condition my machine was in when I took possession. Just general flakiness. Wish I could tell you what fixed it, but I essentially removed all the boards in the box, cleaned up all the connectors and reseated everything. Never really came across anything obviously wrong but when I rebuilt it the flakiness was gone. Wear an ESD strap!

Do what Tick Tock said, board edge connectors getting dirty is a common problem on the 2100 control.

Sounds like a pain... But I'll give it a try. It should be safe to use IPA and compressed air - right? You don't happen to know where I can get my hands on a repair manual do you? Thanks for the advice.
