I have a 750 sabre with acramatic 850 MC that I have been working on for about a year off and on. I have had enough, does anyone know a good tech for these machines in the St Louis area, and can anyone recommend someone who does quality board repair at a fair price. The System Fail 58 has officially kicked my butt and if it isn't up an running PDQ its off to the bone yard, I am tired of looking at it. Vince |

| I will pm u with Tom H phone number; he has worked on the 850's I think for about 25 years and even makes replacement crts and stuff for them. He has travelled around the country on occasion to solve CMI problems; he is in Wichita, KS area - not too far is it? |

IF you still have the machine, try killing the AC power going to the worklight on the machine - they are known to be huge noise generators even if the bulb is out. SF58 is the controls way of saying it received an interrupt (electrical noise spike) and didn't know what to make of it. Other causes: Relays and solenoids w/o arc suppressors can make it fail Loose wiring in the mag panel Last edited by ThePainter; 03-18-2011 at 09:20 PM. |
