airrow500 blue screen and rebooting prob.

i have a airrow500 with a 2100 control. i have had it for about 6years now. the first 3year it had no problems with it. around the 3rd summer i had it, it started geting hot. once it got to hot it would stop running and go to a blue screen. that summer we installed a temp. gauge as close to the cpu as possable. we also added a 2in fan over top the cpu. the problem precessed. so we cut 5 2in holes in the back of the door and stuck a window mounted AC unit over the holes. that fixed the over heating problem in the summer. for the next 3year we turned the AC off for the winter and back on in the summer.

but now this winter we went to removie the AC unit. and it is over heating...we constenly watch the temp. near the CPU.

in the summer if the temp went over 80-85 it would stop runing and go to the blue screen. but all we would have to do is shut it down let it cool off and it would be fine to run agin. but now it goes to the blue screen. we shut it off and let it cool down....but when we bring it back up. it starts to come up but half way through the booting prosess it restarts the boot. and it keep repeating this untill we shut the machine off.

in the morrning we can get about a good 5hours out of it before it overheats. after that it about done for the day......you can start it up but 9-10 it just keep rebooting over n over

Physical failure of the hard drive or the processor or the RAM (due to repeated overheating) or corruption of the hard drive file system sounds like the possible causes.

Process of elimination, swap out the hard drive for a known good hard drive first.
