 Cincinatti A2100 Arrow500 servo failure | |
Hello all,
My brothers barn has an A2100 controlled Arrow by Cincinatti that won't run.. It started thhrowing an error that reads "conv servo failure". He has it down to cables or a controller/com board of some sort. Maybe built by siemens?
I'm an electrical engineer by trade, but I have little experience with servo systems. I'd like to have a shot at fixing this problem, but it would help if I had schematics, or knew what the error referred to, or had any information at all about the machine.
Anyone have any ideas where to get information or where to start? I've ordered a handfull of reed relays that are on the board (he sent me a picture of the board), I'm thinking maybe one failed and that is enough to throw the error? Looks like several have already been replaced. maybe a cable short somewhere? Sure wish I knew what a 'conv' servo was.
What information do you guys need in order to help me help him?
