Thanks for the help I have been getting so far. I was told this control has a Fanuc translator and yes it dose. The translation parameters need to be set up. I'm pretty lost. I have the manuals but not sure what to do. Ive played around some but still get an alarm telling me I need to set up one or more of the parameters Help! Ron |

| I'm in the same boat as Ron. Does anyone have a back up of working parameters to go from fanuc to acramatic 2100? Or, at least a place to start? The idea for the translator is great but you'd think it would come with some default settings... |

| I ran the translator without setting up any of the paramters and it translated just fine. My code is rather simplistic (mainly just G0,G1,G2,&G3) but it worked. I did run into some minor snags where the machine complained that the radius of the arc wasn't big enough to reach the target X&Y, but when I hand calculated, it was only off by 2 tenths. However, this was a error in the original Fanuc code so I don't blame the translator for that one. I just increased the radius by 2 tenths and it worked. |
