Tool Changer Messed up Arrow 500 A2100

My tool changer is messed up. When I call for a tool the wrong tool gets piced up. For example is I call tool 5 tool 12 gets picked up. But the screen says I have tool 5. Is there a way to change something in the control to get this back to normal.

Look in your tool setup screen. The first two columns on the left I think. They should read something like:

1001 1
1002 2
1003 3

etc...

Sometimes if ours has a bad alarm or power outage in the middle of program and we start it up these numbers get messed around and it won't grab the right tools. If there is no tool in the spindle, all of the numbers in those two columns should be filled out. If there is a tool in the spindle it will change the number from whatever tool # to zero.

I think there is a setting for migrating tools on the a2100 this could be giving you problems.
Check the tool # against the pocket # and see if this corresponds to the tool being picked up. When my toolchanger played up I deleted all tools and started again with add tool and choose t#1 in pocket #1 etc not to bad if you dont have many tools. Also I only use active tool list.
