This is my first post, I have recently gotten a Milacron 5VC-750 from the University of Maine. It needs to have a new control system, servos, etc. The machine has already had some of the work done. Along with the machine came all the manuals and a plc system to run the tool changer. I have been looking at the controls from Automation Direct. I am looking for some advice. The machine is a 1984 and has a 24 tool changer. I am planing to use the plc to run the tool changer. I am also planing on the machine using 3-phase 220 volt to run the spindle , hydraulics and pumps systems. Thanks Kevin |
