Hi there. I have a Cincinnati VMC-1000 mill with a Siemens Acramatic 2100 control, and I'm having some trouble with the offset settings. I enter my offset values into the active tool file, but they dont seem to be recognized. I dont even know where to start with this one. Any help would be greatly appreciated. |

| How about a little more info on what you've done... Is the machine new to you, or has it been in use and you're just coming to work on it? Have you set the tram height, then set tool lengths, then set workshift Z zero - in that order? In my experience using the tool manager and assigning permanent tool numbers to each holder can be a lot of trouble for nothing - unless you have alot of holders and can leave them dedicated. Same goes for pallet numbers. Post a bit of your program also so we can check out how you're calling it up (should be :T1M6 or similar) Regards, John |
