Acramatic 2100, Erratic spindle rpm on display

Hi,

My Mighty Mustang C32 cnc mill is functioning without any alarms but I notice the displayed rpm has started to jump around. The program calls for 350 rpm, the spindle runs at 350 rpm but the readout has started to flicker around, as much as 40 rpm over and above 350,

Like I said , the machine runs with no alarms. I]m just trying to be proactive, It just started doing this. Any Ideas?

You need to get a hand tach to see if it is the spindle or the readout. Do you hear the spindle speed changing???

Thanks Mike. The spindle rpm stays steady, the screen readout flickers back and forth.
