    Default Axis inhibit

Hi according to my manual when performing a dry run the xy & z axis should not move except for tool change. Mine however runs everything in rapid. Any ideas on how to stop this. Arrow 1000 with A2100 control.
    Cheers

What machine and what control do you have???? Dry run does make everything run in rapid, that is what it is for.

It kill the cutting fluid pump on our Arrow 1000/A2100 as well. Found that out the hard way, some dummy pushed the button on the pendent by accident then told me the pump was broke. Wasted two hours trying to figure out why the pump safety relay wouldn't pull in. I don't drive 'em, I just fix 'em.

Hi mike it's an arrow 1000 A2100 control. As stated the manual says it should run in x& y only perhaps the manual is wrong. Other machines I have worked with also run through the program with no axis movement at high speed for error checking which is handy.

I think on the pendent you should have an axis inhibit using the soft keys and more. It might be under setup.
