Pallet shuttle on 630 XT 2100 acramatic
Have a 5 axis 630 and I am trying to get the machine to run one side of a part on the rotary and then shuttle the pallet, flip part and run the other side either continuing to run current program or run another. The M60 standard code is not supported by the control. Has anyone done this? If so can you help me through this? Thanks

I am going to just try probing for location and doing a jump on whether it hits or not.

When you run the first set of parts, if you press the auto restart button before the cycle has ended, the pallet should change automatically and run the next set of parts. When you flip the parts you should press the auto load button prior to the end of cycle and it will repeat. Look in your operator book.

This would be running a seperate program then? How is this set up?

You need to assign the part program with the pallet, not sure which screen that is but it should be under machine setup or program management.

Re: Pallet shuttle on 630 XT 2100 acramatic
I will take a look at this when I am out at the machine asap. I have tried to assign the programs to the pallet like setups 1 and 2 but it just tried to run both programs in succession. What I ended up doing is checking a Z position to find whether it was first or second side and running the appropriate section of the program with a jump. I would like to do this with the setup so as to be able to run H1,2,3/ D1,2,3 etc on both sides rather than 8 offsets and 15 tool offsets. I suppose either way it is a bit of a handfull.
