    Cool Changing Units

    Hello,

    Anyone know how change the default Units in NC from mm to inch?

    The parasolid part is designed in inch and when I open it is defaults to mm. This is a pain that costing me hours in programming

    Hello
    No quick fix on this one, it is a pain at times.
    When you import the original file, always go into your improt options and make sure you select inch in the units. This will do the conversion to inch if the part was originally designed in mm.

    Hello

    I do not know your software .... but having said that, can't you just scale the part by 25.4? Most s/w I have used just use units ... its up to you to choose and use the correct ones .....

    I missed out on the option of changing units at the import stage even though i looked for it
