    Buying Chinese 1200x1200 (48"x48")

    Hi,

I am looking at buying a 1200x1200 machine here in the US. It is from an importer that all ready has changed it to Mach3. The cost will be a little over $6000 including shipping, do you all think that is a good price, or should I wait for one from China? After reading lots of post I do here some good and bad about buying from China, how much could I really save?

    Thanks,

I think its a good price. You could import your own and get a price directly. Email Jinan Quick . I think your getting it from John at Kelig? their router is built differently than the Jinan quick router (rack and pinion vs ball screw on the Y axis)...Also do you need a vacuum table? ... I am about to buy a 1200 x 1800 from Jinan quick with a vacuum table. I am adding a us made gecko controllers and am not using a spindle (converting it to automated tangental cutting and scoring) the cost without spindle and motorcontroller is 5200 FOB china so about 6000K landed but than you need a motor controller which is about 1000K... still not apples to apples as the routers are constructed differently.... there is no risk though for you as it is domestically sourced and much quicker to arrive and not a bad router..thats my 10 cents

Damnit what the hel! is wrong with all you. Your going to spend $6,000 on a chinese machine!! WOW thats something else, these ba$tards put poison in our kids's toys and dog food and who knows what else and your going to give them $6,000!!?? I think it's time American's pull there head's out, if your going to buy foreign at least buy used. Find a auction house or even ebay. Chinese machines all I ever here about them is how sloppy they are and poorly built. Maybe thats why they sell for so cheap, do ya think. You asked for opinions so don't get mad at me, I think $6,000 is rediculous for a pile of garbage. Good luck and hope you make the right decision.

    Congratulations!

    rosco, Congratulations on your purchase.

As i understand it - Your machine is already in the USA and has been converted locally to Mach3. Therefore you are contributing to your local economy. Great!

Everybody is certainly entitled to their own opinion about Chinese made machines. As an owner of four of them, i believe they are excellent value for money, and quite well built.

I look forward to seeing photos of your new machine, and a full report on how it performs.

    Rocket.

I have to admit, it's really a good price for a cnc router 1200x1200 only $6000, and including the shipping.
It's a pity that we cannot provide so cheap machine!
Only a little confusion: How much is the quality of this machine worth(except for the profit)?
Oh, if anyone importer who don't care about price only, he cares more the quality, welcome to contact me(crystalplane8402@hotmail.com). Higher price, But Better quality and better after-service.

hello,i think good price is not only related to the price of the machine , but also related the aftersale service, the quality of the machine, the service of the company.
So you u keen your eyes on the price of the machine, i think you many ignore many other important things.

In my opinion, you should compare all these elements i mentioned, and decide which machine you should buy and which company you shold work with. You can wait to find the best one, do not push your self.

I am vivian from Wuhan goldenlaser co., ltd. If you are still interesting in laser machine, i would like to send more details to you.
    Looking for your early reply.
