Sorry about my last post, I should have elaborated as to why.

To cut a long story short, I bought a K1224 from Quick CNC mid October 2009 and moved it in to my garage late December. Obviously I was pretty excited about my new toy but things have not quite gone to plan. The router was to be supplied ready to run with Mach3 software (said they had built others running Mach3). The issues I've had are; Mach3 (Chinese version) didn't work, factory sent 380volt/3 phase machine when I ordered 220volt/ single phase, wiring to breakout board was wrong for Mach3, no Mach3 setup/ parameter file and various parts missing.

Over the last month I've managed to rewire the router, powered it up without the computer attached and run my spare single phase 2.2kw spindle motor without releasing any smoke! I'm planning on firing it up soon.

On the support side, Quick CNC has been great in returning emails and sending all missing parts plus air freighting two very heavy 220volt power supplies/ transformers to get me up and running.

I wouldn't buy a router with Mach3 from them again but knowing what I know now, I would buy another with the DSP system and modify it myself. All in all I've learnt more about the inner works of my router which can only be a good thing. It has just been a frustrating month thats all.

If it wasn't for the support on CNCzone I would never have dreamed of buying a CNC router, so thank you to all who post.

Cheers,
Steve
