    JCUT-6090A vs SHM0609 vs SK-7090F/S

    Hi!

    Nice forum.
    New in CNC machines.

I will import one CNC machine from China
I have look on 3 machines

    JCUT-6090A
    http://www.cnc-laser-cutter.com/CNCa...ngmachine.html

    SHM0609
    http://www.sh-router.com/6096m.asp

    SK-7090F
    http://www.signkey.cn/en/product_dis...id=61&keyno=33
    or
    SK-7090S
    http://www.signkey.cn/en/product_dis...id=49&keyno=35

All seams to be similar, except the SK-7090S servo motors instead of stepper motor
Almost same price, except the SK-7090S, + $2400 USD

Hard to decide which to order.

    My question is:
Have some experience of these machines?
    What is good/bad?
    Quality?
    Which to choose?

Is there other machines that is better to choose?

My main materials is wood, plastic, foam etc (soft materials)
but I will have the possible to route in aluminium, brass....

    Thanks

    tew

Just like it is important to buy a good quality machine, it is also important to deal with somebody who has a reputation for providing excellent advice, and is reliable every step of the way - including after the sale.

Unfortunately, I have had too much to do, so I have not had time to run the machine so much.

    BUT
The documentation on the machine is poorly
No instructions how to get started with it.
Adjustment parameters, I had to ask for.

NCStudio is an old version of the pass, v5.4.53 and a PCI card
(Newer versions of NCStudio is NOT compatible with PCI card!)
    Hard to configure!

The machine itself looks and feels very good.

    More information to come!

    Tew,

I have a machine similar to yours (6090b)

Did you use the Fanuc-3 to post?
This is what I've been using but I still get some errors on curves.

I also had problems with the documentation. I had no success with the pirated software that was included though I admittedly did not try hard when I saw that it was not legit.

Also when it arrived the spindle speed controller was not connected (this was an easy fix).

The machine was easy to calibrate for me and seems to run well so far. I've had no problems with the NC Studio controller.
