Hi I am on the search for a small scale CNC router for manufacturing guitars (35"x25"x5" give or take) I came across a router made in China by XYZ-TECH, the xj6090: http://www.diytrade.com/china/4/prod...NC_ROUTER.html Does any one have any experience with XYZ products? Maybe a user manual to share? Generally speaking, there are a few Chinese companies that manufacture cost effective CNC machinery and I will be grateful on any feedback that will contribute to my overall understanding of the quality of their solutions Thanks you in advance and kind regards Ariel |

| The only XYZ-Tech cnc machine I have had experience with shorted out its spindle inverter due to faulty wiring when manufactured The wiring was poorly done IMHO. Shannon.

| Just got one of these as a trial with all the trimmings. This machine is very heavily built (ie solid). They supply two control versions - dedicated dsp controller with pendant or wired for March. Got DSP version so can use USB memory dongles or direct transfer. Dongles can hold large files if required. Got a couple of rough edges, but nothing that cannot be solved easily. Will be selling a customized version of this with no rough edges. Can be used with hard materials such as granite with appropriate table. Bought mine to use mainly for wood, plastics and non-ferrous metals and occasional Granite block using diamond tools. There is seems to be a shortage of info on the controllers, if you want to delve into it at a deeper level to customize. Don't bother salivating over the Type3 software by going to www.type3.com site. The version you get from China is a scaled down version, not the real deal but still pretty powerful. You can change the language to English but there is no English help. You will find it very tough to beat the price however. |

| G'day Ariel drop me an email at hallsworth.john.j@edumail.vic.gov.au and I'll send you the user manual for this machine. I'm using one at my school (for woodwork). I haven't started to get full use from it yet, but it seems to be working fine. Cheers John |
