Hi Guys, Im looking at buying a double spindle, double rotary 4th axis machine from a chinese manufacturer. Here they are: http://www.sanhecnc.com/english/prod.asp# Ive gotten great pre order attention. I have asked pages and pages of very specific questions, and have gotten answers on everything. I have one concern. Getting the machine to post with Mastercam. I admit Im a newbie, although Ive worked on a Techno machine with the help of my friend ( an admitted machine snob BTW, that doesnt like my idea to buy a chinese machine). I will be using mastercam x2 to cut complex parts on the 4th axis rotaries. Is anyone out there using mastercam and a chinese machines with success? anyone with 4th axis work going on, Id really be interested in hearing from. Thanks for any input guys, WH |

| warhorse, What sort of operating system do these machines have? Had a quick look at their website but could not see it mentioned. Don`t forget to contact your local Customs Receiver/ Broker to obtain a complete quote for all shipping and Customs costs BEFORE you place an order. These costs will probably be somewhere in the 3-4K range. Rocket. |

| rocket 67 they can provide ncstudio (?), or Mach 3 they've said. Ive seen these machines. Yes the finishes suck, yes some of the welding is boogery in areas of the frame. but the parts that matter are pretty good (taiwan), and for the price I cant see how anyone can just dismiss them. for what I do I cannot justify a 75K machine. Maybe 10K so back to the question, mastercam post to Chinese machines? Thanks wh |
