Hi I'm new, I feel fortunate to have found this forum where many real users express their experiences, well I tell them I want to buy a small cnc, but my job is in metals like copper, bronze, iron and steel. So I guess the spindle motor must be powerful and the gantry has to be resistant

Someone who can help me to configure parts of the machine for metal engraving. Thank you very much.

Hi,

Yes, if you want to engrave aluminum, bronze and iron, you need to use big power spindle, and the gantry will be more stronger to support the spindle.
If you want small machine, I'd like to recommend you to consider model K6100A with working area: 600mm*1000mm and model K1212 with working area: 1200mm*1200mm, with 3KW or 4.5KW spindle.

Hi,

If you want to engrave on aluminium, cnc machine K6100A with 3KW or 4.5KW spindle is ok. You need to make the revolving speed down a bit and choose the special tool for engraving metal. When you engrave on the aluminium, you should engrave a little thickness each step. I think it is ok if you work 8 hours a day, but you'd better not to make the machine always working 8 hours for long time.
