I have a problem with my Spirit laser: Firmware: 2.13 Connection by USB Printer driver: Spirit_32V3.75-02 USB driver: USBSetup1.13-01 System Windows 7 32-bit Professional There were no problems with previous firmware with Windows XP and direct LPT to LTP connection. The problems started after connecting via USB with Windows 7 machine with drivers mentioned above. The file was received however when Start was pressed the system displayed PSL error 0 with codes I cannot remember now. Then we updated firmware to 01.28 and the system constantly freezes. After this we updated to 2.13. After this, the system boots up and displays message File was not received, please send again band Back. The Back button on F1 does not work. It will not allow any menu to be opened only displays that message. However computer sees it as a USB printing support with virtual USB port 005 instead of GSS port0. I manage to send a file, however the file is not received in the machine. The message stays the same please send file again. If the machine is turned off, the computer sees it as offline, but when it is turned on, it does not appear online. If the USB cable is unplugged and plugged in again it appears online again. Can you help me? |

| Hi, I don't know your machine or software, but i have had similar issues with other pieces of equipment under windows 7. What i find is Win7 is got a lot of eco power saving features one of which is the ability to power down usb port and device to save power if it is dormant for a period of time. This May be the case You Could try plugging your device in and go to device manager->universal serial devices -> select your device ( if unsure unplug and plug back in) ->right click on device and select properties if it has power management tab select and untick the allow computer to turn device off to save power. If you dont have that setting all i could suggest is uninstall software and drivers and reinstall cheers |
