Hi Guys, This is My first post as i have only recently discovered this Forum, I must say it has a wealth of information and is a credit to the community. I am looking to purchase a Chinese 1325 router and am looking for a little advice with a couple of thing. I will be using the machine for various task from Engraving Aluminium trophy plates/perspex, to cutting Mdf to some aluminium plate etc used in Motorhome fit out I am opting for a larger then needed machine to allow for future possibilities at this stage it is for low volume semi hobby jobs at the moment. The plan is to explore the competitive market slowly and if it proved to have viable work i will look to lease a better machine like Multi-cam or similar. I just don't want to over capitalise on the Uncertain Unknown. The machine the feature i feel would be best are as follow 1325 Table 200mm Z axis 4.5kw Spindle Square Linear guides with rack and pinion motion Now i was hoping that i could get some advice on control and table Is DSP control a better option the NCstudio? Would a Vacuum table be a better option over normal T-slot? ( bearing in mind low volume work and items most likely to be much smaller then full sheet.) So if anyone has some advice etc it would be Much appreciated Thanks Brumby |

| Hi Brumby, I can't speak for DSP but I would certainly say a Mach3 config would be far better and more flexible than NCStudio definately! Although NCStudio is very functional, I very much regret not getting mine setup for Mach3 just for the sheer amount of features and support. cheers, Ian

| Hi Ian, Thanks for the reply, Looks as though the machine i am going to purchase has DSP setup on it. Im thinking i will give it a try if it doesnt work out i will convert to gecko drive or similar and Mach 3. This seems to be a popular conversion on the forum. As i am only new to this i guess it will be trial and error Cheers |
