    Type3. Can't find too error

Can any one tell me or give me the parameters to enter in and create a tool that will work? I just want to use one of the basic little engraving bits that has a "V" tip. I must be entering some numbers wrong because all I get is this can't find too Error 95% of the time. http://i399.photobucket.com/albums/p...pe3Problem.jpg

I'm so close! Just this last thing holding me up!

Sorry. Photo bucket is a pain in the but. Try this one or try to copy and past it into the URL address box. Do you really think you can help? Thank you for replying! I was beginning that there was no one out there that used this software. Any help is greatly appreciated! Mike

Alright I reinstalled the software and tried again. I don't really understand what the DAO is all about. When I reinstalled the software it asked what type of DAO I would like to install. I didn't know so I selected them all. Is that correct? This time there is no (can't find tool) error but there is a (-z overflow) error. I tried to change it with as many different measurements I could come up with. Eventually a box would pop up and say' " Z must be greater than 0.078740 and less than 0.787402". So tried entering measurements with in those limits and still got a "-z overflow error". What do you think?

    Dear Khaled,

I am not saying this problem is caused by pirate software, but if original software, it will never happen unkonwn reason problem, no need reinstall and reinstall. if you follow the instruction and do right settings of the original, you can use for years without any problem for years, the Type3 has more than 20 years experiences.

The pirate software was just a not very muture version craked by one people from Beijing. but it really bring big money for him.

So we still hope every one use original sofwares, so that the software market will be better and better, and functions are more and more good.

we think maybe, it is caused wrong machine you picked, or wrong settings for the machine parameters.

but without settings really canot say what the problem is exactly.

Hay I finally got it to make G code again! YA! It had nothing to do with any software issues. Just a parameter I did not have set correctly. But there's a new problem. When I make a shape to cut out (like a square) it makes G code that has "I" and "J" moves in it which makes the machine make circles in the corners instead of just going around the corner. It didn't do this before so I know it's got to be something stupid I did. Any suggestions? See these screen images. Do I need to change any thing? Am I forgetting something?

Then this is the final Simulation done on NCstudio. The design is the small square but you can see it makes circles for some of the corners but not all. Why??? It must have to do with the "I" and "J" moves in the G code because I've created designs in the past and they had no "I" or "J" in the code and it cut the design fine. Any suggestions???? Thanks!
