    BIG THANKS TO QUICK CNC

    Hi Guys

Just wanted to start a new post about Quick CNC. Firstly im in Sydney Australia, and also very new to the cnc world. We have looked at many machines and researched and decided to purchase a K1236 from Quick with the follwoing specs

    3600x1200 working area
    Servo Motors
9KW HSD iso30 Italian air cool Spindle, Auto tool release
7.5KW vaccuum pump and tslot table
    30mm Hiwin Square Linear rails
Dust Extraction With Spindle hood 3KW
    Automatic Tool Sensor
    Automatic Pop up Position Stops/Pins
    Softwares
    Syntec Contntroller

Having said all this the reason for the post is to say Thank you so much for the wonderful service. They have been truly amazing. We have decided to purchase a machine from them based not only on the Product or price but the service.

I can only say if there product is half as good as the service then then i im sure we will be truly satisfied. Ally at Quick has been awesome.

I have sent well over 100 emails to Ally in the past week, every single one of these was answered within an hour. I was amazed at the service. We even made several phone calls between us and she was most helpful.

    Thank you so much,

I will keep everyone posted on the status and when the machine arrives.

    In finishing i must say

If your looking for a CNC then make sure you contact

    QUICK CNC

    see ya

If you don't mind me asking:

    What did the machine cost?
    Were there import taxes?
And what were the shipping cost to australia?

    Hi Marsh and All

Regarding the cost of machine this was approx 18k
we could of got a 2400x1200 or a less speced machine for near on 10-12k

But we went for the 3600x1200.The extras we had added to the machine really made our purchase quite customised, and well over speced. We thought given this machine has many of the features that other australian machines have 18K was very very good,

Regarding taxes, of course they make lots for nothing, 5% stamp duty, 10%gst plus a few $50 amounts for filing, all up gov tax are about $2K

Im using a broker in sydney to collect from port in china ship to port in sydney and bring direct to my door in western sydney so thats another 2.5k. So total about 4.5K for taxes and shipping. You could ship alot less if you got the chinese to ship and did your own paperwork and pick up from the dock, but given we have saved alot by comparison to the Aussie machines getting the broker to do the work is well worth it.

So All up about 22k, Hard pressed to find any other machine landed in your factroy with the same specs at this price... my opinion only

    Thanks

    Red,

I have had the same experience as you through my dealings with Taney. Also, like you, I have no machine yet. It is scheduled to ship at the end of next week, so hopefully in my shop within a month. My K1530 looks great on paper, let's hope it lives up to my expectations!
