    Need Help... on machines

    hi guys

this is only my second post and my knowledge is very little.. so im a newbie.
I am in Sydney Australia and looking at buying a chinese machine. I need help to
find what machine best. We are an upholstery company making Pelmets, Bedheads, etc

We are looking at a machine from either Roc Tech, Jinan Quick or Jinan Senfeng.
Can anyone recommend any of these. Machine will be 3600x1200 prefer HSD italian air cool spindle and Servo motors.

Our products we make are very very simply. We have 12 different shapes we basically need to cut. these comprise of a make up of 3 pieces from 6mm and 1 piece from 16mm MDF. the 16mm piece is basically a rectangle made at vary length, stanard is normall 2000mm long 140mm wide and 16mm mdf in thickness. the 6mm boards are what we call face and returns, the face is normally around 2000mm ( to match the 16mm) 300mm high, returns are 300mm high and 140mm wide. Sizes obviously change pending order but that about it. Sometimes we cut designs into bottom on face piece. So we need software that can do this. We need to stretch the shape if the face piece is longer or shorter...

So enough dribble..... heres what im hoping you guys with experience can recommend software, the machines im looking at come with either type 3, Ucancam etc, can this do what i need,

really sorry for the basic questions but just learning,

thanks in advance for any help

Dear Anthony, Glad to read your post .

You are very self-abasement but relly no need. every one here should study from others.

if possible, you can send some picuters to us, then we try to make with software, then show you the process. so there there will be no misunderstanding only by words.

Ucancam V9 is also good, but canot do 3D designs, only can read BMP files with height. Type3 is good on 3D and 2D, but there are many many pirate copies now, please be careful, because sometime the crack gives unknown problems.

Regarding machines, please check and search more on website, high quality components, good service and good advantages technologies are very important when you are using the machine.

    Hi Anthony,

from your file, the shaps are very very simple, and the machines can do that very easily.

if possible, you can send some real samples to understand well, and materails is also important to know for choosing a machine.

for the diffrerent shaps, there are two ways: 1, just use 2 tools, one tool make the shape angels, and another do the milling, 2, just one tool, do the 3D machining.

but need to know the size and angel before doing.

    Best regards,

    no, problem;

for software i would recommend Type3 or Enroute
    (both have local support here)

maybe dxf import from drawing software.

regards machine; see machines which are working in australia. visit these people; look at the cnc.
ask them for help, than the machine comes and you have no technian at your workshop to help! be prepared to pay something for the help.

or ask the chinese company if they could send somebody over.

the worst thing is to have a cnc = is not working for weeks!
and you spent weeks of time to get it working!

how many sheets of board do you have to cut per week?
