    Another Newbie

Hello, Im new to cnc (engraving and routing)

I have been told i have many problems, but the one that really is troubling me is the fact, the desk top router i purchased i havnt a clue how to use it.
I purchased a SIGNSTECH Desktop CNC Engraver/Router SG-3226C. It came brand new in the box from china. It came with some software called
ARTGRAVE2010 but windows 7 can not open it, even with the compatible feature. it also came with a dongle. and thats it !, I suppose you get what you pay for but It doent seem a bad bit of kit if i could get it to do something.
I have been intouch with the manufacture he sent me a operating manual via email but the instruction illustrations are very different to what i am looking at on the hand held screen. one of my many problems is that i have downloaded some free G code in cnc format (thankyou vectric) it will download into the router and show up on the hand held but comes up with a CHECK CODE AXIS Y ??? Is there any body out there willing to take a greenhorn under their cnc wing and help me actually turnout one of those really nice projects on offer
Any help would be greatly appreciated
    Denno.
