LOL....sorry.....you need a UPS to keep the show on the road when you have a sudden power out.

Hi All!
Whilst programming our power bombed out at the workshop I had already started pocketing when I noticed a problem. The file was still open on my PC as I was still in the process of finishing the next profiling toolpath.
Went back to the PC to redo pocketing ,was busy moving and placing vectors onto correct layers. Didn't hit "SAVE' and the power went out. Is it possible to create vectors from g-code???
Any help would be greatly appreciated,
TIA Kevin

Yes, it is possible, because the g-code should be an exact reproduction of the design.
However ... it can be extremely difficult.

A ripper.
Dear me - that would do it I guess. And accurate too.
Lucky!

Gcode ripper works great. Used it to recreate a lost vector file from the gcode program a couple months ago. The program has some other nice features too.
