Have an electrician wiring my workshop for a X8-1500M. Electrician just called and wanted to know the amps of the 240volt circuit. Thought I'd just look it up on their website and found...not a thing, notta!
What are you guys using? Any idea of the actual amperage?

Well a 60 watt average CNC machine does`nt require a circuit breaker, we have 4 units of CNC machines working simultaneously and the power meter readings are just 240-280W, an ordinary 1/2 HP (2 pole) 3600 RPM bench grinder powered ON had a bigger watt readings (400-500W) compared to the 4 CNC`s working together.

I'd agree with the 15 amps @ 240V. Probably less.

If running a new 240v line I would opt for 20amp Minimum, the cost difference is not that much, and you never know if you need something else for 240v down the road.
